Terms of Service
Last updated: February 1, 2026
By using Murmur ("we", "us", "our") you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, you should not use Murmur.
1. Use of the service
Murmur provides virtual co-working sessions and related tools. You may use Murmur only in accordance with these terms and applicable law. You are responsible for your activity on the service and for keeping your account secure.
2. Calendar access
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, you authorize Murmur to create, update, and delete calendar events associated with sessions you create or join. We will not modify other events on your calendar and you can disconnect access at any time.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Murmur, including by attempting to interfere with the service, accessing data you are not authorized to access, or using Murmur to harass or harm others. We may suspend or terminate access for behavior that violates these terms or risks the integrity of the service.
4. No warranties
Murmur is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that calendar events or notifications will always be delivered on time. You are responsible for double-checking important commitments.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Murmur. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you have paid us for the service in the 3 months prior to the claim (if any).
6. Changes to the service or terms
We may update Murmur or these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (for example, by email or in-app). Your continued use of Murmur after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in California, unless applicable law requires a different venue.
